2022 Recap: After losing much of the talent they did in 2021, the question loomed over their heads: What could they do to replace it? It’s not easy replacing guys such as Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean, but they were able to make it work. I think I was one of the few people who defended Stetson Bennett on the regular. He may have not been as exciting to watch as other Quarterbacks, but he got the job done and whenever you needed a big throw from him, he delivered. Georgia cruised through the regular season once again, won the SEC championship, got by Ohio State in the College Football Playoff and won their second consecutive National Championship with a dominating win over the TCU Horned Frogs. It’s been nice to be Kirby Smart and these Bulldogs.

2023 Prediction: While a new crop of talent comes in, I don’t expect this Georgia team to miss a single beat. The only team that could possibly give them a “scare” is Tennessee, but we don’t even know what to expect from them. The Georgia Bulldogs will win this division for the third straight season. Brock Bowers is the best Tight End in college football and he returns for another season. Both sides of the ball will click again. This will be a tough team to beat and this is also why they hired Kirby, not just to win conference titles, but national titles and he’s won two of them. This is the new bully in college football.
