2020 Recap: They were limited to four games in 2020 because of cancellations. Ever since Herm Edwards became the head coach at Arizona State, they’ve climbed the ladder and improved each year. They’re the best offense in the conference with a ton of weapons to choose from. Arizona State led the Pac-12 in scoring and yards per play in 2020. These last few years have been the tip of the iceberg. Now, it’s time to see what they are made of.
Notable Departures: DB Aashari Crosswell.
2021 Prediction: All the pieces are in place for them to take that next step. I’m picking the Arizona State Sun Devils to win the Pac-12 South. They return nearly everyone from last season. This includes quarterback Jayden Daniels and running backs Rachaad White and Chip Trayanum. The offense is looking to take off with Jayden and the deepest back field of running backs. The weapons at receiver are deep as well. There’s a lot of depth. Their defense returns a large portion of last year’s group. Arizona State must improve against the run to be successful this year.
