2020 Recap: They’ve won the last two conference titles. I can’t say enough about head coach Mario Cristobal. Since taking over, the Oregon Ducks have been one of the more consistent teams in the Pac-12. Despite a shortened year, they still won the conference title game. Tyler Shough. He started every game for the Ducks and helped lead them to the conference title game. As many teams did, Oregon has players opt out before the season started. That should be different come fall time.
Notable Departures: QB Tyler Shough transferred, OL Penei Sewell, S Brady Breeze, S Jevon Holland, DB Thomas Graham Jr.
2021 Prediction: I don’t see them missing much of a beat. They will win the Pac-12 North division title. The Oregon Ducks have the best all-around roster in the conference. The backfield tandem of C.J. Verdell and Travis return which will help the offense and the new quarterback. The defense took a step back. For them to succeed, they must force turnovers consistently. They will play the Ohio State Buckeyes in week two. That will be a test. Later on, they’ll have more road tests against Washington and Utah.
