Intriguing Game- Week 13

Buffalo Bills at San Francisco 49ers

Bills: They got back to business on Sunday with a bounceback win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Now, they’re in control and are closing in on winning the AFC East. I know what I’m going to get from the offense. Josh Allen will take the game over with his legs and his arm. As dominant as they appeared on one side of the football, I noticed they were keeping the Chargers in the game. Either they made a mistake by turning the ball over or LA would get those big plays down the field. Also, they let Joey Bosa have a field day as they showed to have no answer for him. The Bills defense has struggled but they played much better in their last game. They’ll look to make it five wins in their last six games on Monday night against the defending NFC champs.

49ers: Last week was a big moment for them. I know they have been a much different team compared to what we saw last season. Around this time in 2019, they were on the verge of wrapping their division up and staying in the hunt for the top seed in the NFC. This year, the injury bug hampered them and it showed. However, they did receive a few reinforcements. Richard Sherman played in his first game since week one along with Raheem Mostert and Deebo Samuel returning. You saw a completely different team and they were able to pull the upset over the Los Angeles Rams. So, there’s a chance to get back into the playoff picture you ask? There is. Everything would have to go their way the rest of the season. They’ll host the Buffalo Bills for a Monday night showdown in a huge game.

Bills X-Factor: Gabriel Davis– They’ve been using him more in the offense. Along with Stefon Diggs, Gabriel gives Allen another weapon down the field. Whether it’s over the middle, in the flat, or the red area, he’s a threat. He can even catch screen passes if he’s open.

49ers X-Factor: Deebo Samuel– Last week, he gave this entire offense a spark. After all the games he missed this year, he didn’t appear to miss a beat in his first game back. 11 receptions and 133 yards on the day. He’s not just used as a receiver. The 49ers hand the ball off to him on jet sweeps also. Any way to include him.

Final Thoughts: This game will be played in Arizona on Monday night. It has intrigue written all over it. I need to see more consistency from the Bills defense. They were okay last week, can they improve on that in this one? Only time will tell. The 49ers defense needs to pressure Allen early on. He’s a quarterback that depends on timing and standing tall in the pocket. This should be a hard-hitting football game.

Prediction: Bills 30 49ers 23
