Week 12 Power Rankings (NFL)

1. Kansas City Chiefs: They look scarier and scarier by the week. To be honest, there’s no defense that can truly limit their offense. Just when you thought the Raiders were going to do the impossible and beat the Chiefs twice in a season. They gave Mahomes way too much time on the clock and finished the job. This win basically locked up the AFC West for them once again. Now, it’s another goal in mind. Chase the Pittsburgh Steelers for the top seed.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers: Ten up, ten down. This is where they stand now. The last two weeks, they’ve finally handled business against teams they should be destroying. It appears that their defense continues to get scarier by the week. They were an absolute nightmare for Jake Luton in Jacksonville. When I watch their offense, everyone contributes. I see a ton of efficiency. I expected the Steelers to be good this year, but not undefeated good at this point.

3. New Orleans Saints: They haven’t lost a game since week three of this season. With Drew Brees out, it was time for Taysom Hill to make his debut as the starting quarterback. He didn’t look bad in his first start. It also helps when the defense steps up and handles business. They were all over Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons offense to the tune of eight sacks and two interceptions. It’s been proven they can win without Brees. They’re in Denver today for a showdown with the Broncos.

4. Los Angeles Rams: I feel as though they don’t get the credit they deserve. This is a good football team Sean McVay has right now. Monday night was a huge win for them in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers. Goff was locked in, both Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods had big games and the defense did just enough to pressure and hit Tom Brady. Come playoff time, this is a team that can hang around with the best of them.

5. Indianapolis Colts: Finally, they’re looking like the team I expected them too. They don’t need Philip Rivers to take games over. All they need from him is to control things and not lose the football game. This defense is still the real deal. After giving up 28 first half points to the Green Bay Packers, they were able to buckle down and make it a brand new ball game in the second half.
