Week Four Power Rankings (NFL)

1. Kansas City Chiefs: Monday night was the most complete they’ve looked all year. The champs reclaim my top spot after an all-around win last Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens. Mahomes and the offense were locked in. It was the defense that really caught my attention. The Chiefs did a terrific job of making Lamar Jackson’s night miserable. They’ll keep it moving with a game against the Patriots today.

2. Green Bay Packers: Sunday night in New Orleans was big for them. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect from them without Davante Adams. Neither did the New Orleans Saints because they couldn’t stop the Packers. Aaron Rodgers looks so comfortable in the offense. Other receivers also stepped it up in Adams’ absence. They’re a fun group to watch offensively. When Kenny Clark returns, the defense should be sharper.

3. Seattle Seahawks: Russell Wilson has done it again. Another game with at least four touchdown passes. He threw five in that win against the Cowboys and now, he’s thrown 14 touchdown passes in his first three games becoming the first quarterback in history to do so. Seattle hasn’t started 3-0 since 2013. That also happens to be the year when they won the Super Bowl. As for their defense, I feel they will get better as the year goes on.

4. Buffalo Bills: They had me scared last weekend. A 28-3 lead simply isn’t safe anymore. They blew a 25-point lead to the Los Angeles Rams. However, they fought back and won the game on their final drive. This team is for real. All the hype during the off-season was legit. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs are beginning to gel together as a tandem. It’s a showdown in Las Vegas for the Bills today.

5. New England Patriots– They looked sharp last week against the Raiders. Finally, they got Sony Michel the football. He will be key until that passing game opens up. They’re 2-1 right now. Typical Patriots. They may start slowly, but can get on a run at any time. Their game against the Kansas City Chiefs will now take place on Monday night. Cam Newton unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19. I’m wishing him a speedy recovery.
