1. National Championship– I’ve been so honored to break down every national championship since the 2011 season when Alabama faced LSU. In all my years in this business, I’ve never been so excited to preview a title game as I am for this one. The Clemson Tigers, the LSU Tigers. This is a quarterback matchup to dream about. Trevor Lawrence has yet to taste defeat as the Clemson starting quarterback. Joe Burrow has put together a season to remember. The Superdome will be rocking tomorrow night. Both teams are 14-0. For the second consecutive year, we’ll have a team finish with the perfect 15-0 record.
2. AFC Championship– The Tennessee Titans just continue to make believers out of everybody. They beat the Patriots in Wild Card weekend then turn around a week later and eliminate the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens. Derrick Henry is a whole grown man, remember that. For the first time since 2002, the Titans are playing in the AFC Championship game. Things looked dark for the Kansas City Chiefs at one point against the Houston Texans. Then came the turn around. The Chiefs scored 51 unanswered points. For the second straight season, Arrowhead will be hosting a conference title game. This will be a rematch of week ten.
3. NFC Championship– After they met back in November, I said to myself there’s a strong possibility that we could see the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers play again in January. Here we are a few months later with a trip to Super Bowl 54 on the line. When they met back in the regular season, the 49ers punched the Packers in the mouth so hard that Green Bay couldn’t recover until the third quarter. San Francisco won this game by 29 points. The Packers have struggled in California this year. This time around, I think they’re prepared to go back there. The 49ers are back in the NFC title game for the first time since 2013.
