Here Comes The Boom

7. Antonio Brown– He’s another regular who will be on this here consistently. He first made his debut on my Summer project back in 2016 when he claimed the number three spot. The following year in 17, he began my top five. Last year, he was the man and became the first wide receiver to claim the number spot. He dropped some spots, but he still made it. Antonio Brown is back again and claims the seventh spot on my list.

He’s also my second-ranked wide receiver entering the 2019 season. You can talk about the antics all you want, but when he’s locked in, he will show you why he’s one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He’s so difficult to bring down and he bounces around off the defenders. You can double team him if you want too, he’ll find a way to make a play on the ball and he usually does. He plays outside, plays inside in the slot so it doesn’t matter where you place him. He will get his at the end of the day. His numbers are so consistent each year. In 2018, he recorded his sixth straight season with 100 catches. He always plays with that high motor which I really admire. He always wants the football and most of the time, he comes away with the ball. He runs over the middle, works the outside, you can line him up in the slot and he’s productive. AB plays a backyard style of football. He doesn’t run the route tree and that’s because the quarterback he once played with was known to extend the play so much which made him run circles around defenses. 2018 was a rocky season and it would end up being his last in a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform. In March, he was traded to the Oakland Raiders after rumors and speculations for months.

As I said up top, he completed his sixth season recording 100 receptions. If he continues to play at this high level, I think we can begin to place him in the category of the legendary wide receivers (Moss, Rice and Owens).
