Week Six Power Rankings (NFL)

1. Los Angeles Rams– What makes a team great is how they are able to win in different situations and last Sunday in Seattle showed that they can escape and win the tight battles. This truly is the best team in the NFL right now and next, they have a showdown against the Denver Broncos and we all know that playing at Mile High isn’t always the easiest place to play at. We’ll see how this pans out.

2. Kansas City Chiefs– For the first four weeks, we’ve seen what their offense can do and how they’ve singlehandedly destroyed defenses. Their defense had been struggling, but last Sunday against the Jaguars showed that their defense will show up when they have too and the Chiefs can also beat you in a variety of ways. Mahomes didn’t even throw a touchdown pass, but the Chiefs still dominated the game. Here’s the ultimate test now: The New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

3. Cincinnati Bengals– This is their best start since 2015, the last time they won the division and made the playoffs. Andy Dalton is off to a quick start, A.J. Green is still one of the best wide receivers in the game and the defense could be beginning to turn the page with the return of Vontaze Burfict. That was an impressive come from behind win last week against the Dolphins. It’s Steelers week in Cincinnati and the war will resume once again in a few hours.

4. New Orleans Saints– It was definitely a special night for Drew Brees and the Saints last week against the Washington Redskins. Ever since that opening loss to the Buccaneers in week one, the Saints have bounced back nicely and have won their last four games. With Drew under center, they will always have a chance to win games and the defense is beginning to improve.

5. New England Patriots– We knew they’d back here eventually, right? After two disappointing losses, they’ve gotten back to their winning ways and have won two in a row. They finally have a healthy offense and Julian Edelman is back in the fold. I’m still concerned about their defense and they won’t have it easy tonight against the Chiefs.
